DOBIE & THE POSSUM
TWINS (ODELL & OKIE)
Working with Animal Forest Creations' Author/Composer, Diane
Cathey, Dobie is busy writing and performing songs for the
animated, Kid Series,
"Dobie & The Possum Twins." His animated character
represents the human aspect of the cast. He is all -around
adviser, teacher and confidant to his little Animal Friends of
the forest.
Given his disquiet for the next
generation of literate Americans, it’s not
surprising that Dobie would try to kindle young
minds into lighting the way to Right-thinking and
Academia before it’s too late.
Here, he reads to pre-schoolers
at the Academy Of Cool Springs, in Franklin, TN.
The Kids, who were very familiar with Dobie & The
Possum Twins’ Website, sang along with him on
songs from The Possum Twins’ Songbook, and hung a
“Happy Birthday” banner for him in their
classroom.
The day ended with everyone enjoying cake and
punch - July, 2007.
