The Best Of Dobie Gray (MCA / Astor Records LTD PTY 1973 / 1974)
"The Best Of Dobie Gray" was the first, and is probably the most comprehensive, compilation of Gray’s MCA recordings. It was released in Great Britain on the heels of "Drift Away', and featured the majority of his most popular selections from that album, as well as great gems from the "Loving Arms" and "Hey, Dixie" albums.

Diamond Cuts (1997) LISTEN HERE
A masterful 20-song set that includes "Drift Away" and "The 'In' Crowd". It also includes pop-reggae in "I Can See Clearly Now," folk/soul via "Lean on Me," straight country with "Crazy," and vintage soul with "Ain't That Good News."

Soul Days (Cadre Records /2001) LISTEN HERE
Spotlights Gray reworking vintage R&B and '60s hits, among them "If Loving You Is Wrong," "People Get Ready," and "When a Man Loves a Woman." He also navigates sentimental pop in "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" and adds a serviceable version of "Good Times." His singing is strong, confident, and consistently evocative, while his backing cast includes keyboardist Rick Steff, bassist Dave Smith, drummer Steve Mergen, and guitarist Rick Lott.

The Ultimate Dobie Gray (Hip-O Records /2001) LISTEN HERE
Hip-O releases a 20-track anthology that includes Gray's huge 1965 pop and R&B smash "The 'In' Crowd," as well as "Drift Away" and several other lesser known, yet equally fine releases.

Songs Of The Season (2001) LISTEN HERE
A 14-Song Holiday offering that contains a medley of such classics such as "Joy To The World," "O Holy Night" and "The First Noel" plus 7 original compositions destined to become all-time favorites of Dobie's fans. Features "Decorate The Night", "Christmas Waltz," "This Is The Time For Love" and "Child".
